Dr. Salem Ruiz

Dr. Salem Ruiz was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Since she was a teenager, Salem had been volunteering and working in various practices in Arizona. Dr. Ruiz felt becoming a veterinarian was the perfect way for her to help the animals and people in her community. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2020 with her Bachelor’s in Biology. She later continued her education at the University of Arizona to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, internal medicine, and preventative care.During her spare time, Dr. Ruiz enjoys spending time with her friends and family and exploring northern Arizona.
